by the way, AS, thanks for the link. interesting rant. i see the ease of rationalizing oneself--i'm pretty good at it. but i'm also pretty good at questioning my own rationales...

i don't see the thing about revenge...i don't care that much what people think about me...people can piss me off but i don't really care about interpersonal struggles enough to spend a lotta energy on retribution...but i dunno if it's a Shawn thing or an ENTP thing.

anywise, anyone able to give synopses etc on socionics? i'll read up on it later--if i have time from all my other community and intellectual projects...but it'd be great to see a synopsis w/ critique...

Shawn, I think us ENTPs have a hard time being narrowly focused on anything for very long and that means things like revenage tactics lose our interest quickly. I get one burst of creative ideas when I am mad at someone then it all just goes away as the next problem to be taken apart and solved presents itsself... like in 30 mintues or less;) Anyone else like this?

totally. once the initial pissed feeling goes away (i.e. once i get distracted), revenge becomes pointless.

There is absolutely no question about my being this way.

I simply don't have the time or energy for revenge, though sometimes (if I'm not busy; i.e., stuck in traffic) I will enjoy a nice little revelry of plotting it, which is good enough for me.

Life's too short and there's far too much to see and do and feel and think about and invent to bother with something so petty.
